YORK WATER DISTRICT, a leading community drinking water supplier in Southern Maine, is accepting applications for an open Assistant Treatment Plant Operator position in our water filtration facility. Our operators have diverse backgrounds and skills that aid in providing our community with high-quality drinking water.

 

We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with any combination of the following experience: lab, computers, electrical, process control, mechanical, plumbing and facilities maintenance.

 

In return, our team will help them develop necessary skills and provide them with education and growth opportunities, along with generous benefits including paid health insurance, time off, and a state pension plan. Competitive pay (commensurate with experience) ranging from $23.93 to $35.90. 4-day work week, successful applicants must reside within a 45-minute radius of our facility.
