York Water District continues to monitor the updates regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and are following the latest available CDC guidelines.

During the height of the pandemic, York Water District worked hard to keep our employees safe and maintain our infrastructure, all while providing the town with the essential service of delivering safe drinking water to your homes & businesses. At this stage YWD continues to be pro-active keeping our staff safe & healthy to continue our mission of serving the Town of York.

 

Our administration office, located at 86 Woodbridge Road, is open to the public Monday through Thursday 7:00AM to 5:30PM.

The district requires you to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status upon entering our lobby area.

 

For any after-hours water emergency

or if your water was shut off for non-payment:
Please call (207) 363-2265, press 0 after the prompt, and leave a voicemail with your name, address, phone number, and the nature of your call. Our standby personnel will contact you within 30 minutes.

 

We still urge you to take advantage of our online resources such as bill pay, water service applications, ATV permits, customer inquiries, water main extension applications and more. Customers may also use our “After Hours” drop box located at our main office on 86 Woodbridge Road for bill pay or any other communications.


Please be Advised: When appointments are made for our staff to enter your home, we are still asking customers to practice social distancing & provide our staff the space necessary to do their work. Masks will be worn when entering customer premises unless mutually agreed otherwise.
