Plans are in the works to develop a 2.5-acre plot of land at the base of Mount Agamenticus into a parking lot and visitor center with restroom facilities -- with the goal of increasing safety, protecting the York Water District watershed and providing amenities to an ever-burgeoning number of people interested in the mountain's recreational opportunities.
